CARISSA YAP CROWNED MISS UNIVERSE SINGAPORE 2022
On Monday, October 17, Carissa Yap bested 9 other contestants and was crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2022 during the live event held at Alcove, Caldwell House, Chijmes. She will now represent Singapore at the 71st Miss Universe competition on January 14, 2023 in New Orleans, Lousiana.
Yvonne Sashirekha and Denissia Delangle placed 1st and 2nd runner-up, respectively.

Carissa is a 22 year-old business student at the National University of Singapore. She has a passion for ESG and finance. She hopes to use the platform of Miss Universe Singapore to realize her dream of providing financial solutions to the underbanked community.
