Miss USA R'Bonney Gabriel is a 28 year-old proud Filipina-Texan. Her father moved to America from the Philippines on a college scholarship with about $20 in his pocket and met her mom, a country woman from Beaumont, in Texas. This past summer, she made history as the first Asian-American to ever win Miss Texas USA, and now she is the first ever Filipina-American Miss USA. She graduated from the University of North Texas majoring in fashion design with a minor in fabrics. She now works as a sustainable fashion designer through her brand 'R'Bonney Nola Design'. R'Bonney is known for sharing clips of herself creating her pageant outfits, and there’s always special meaning into what she comes up with and the fabric she uses including that of her Miss USA interview outfit which was made as a tribute to her parents, incorporating the hand-painted flower design from her mother's wedding dress and the traditional Filipino Maria Clara collar shape.

Dear R'Bonney, GOOD LUCK on your Miss Universe journey! We can't wait to follow & support!
